These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to HomePro Finder at homeprofinder.us (the “Site”), part of the Top USA Business Finder family of directories. The Site is operated by HomePro Finder (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
1. What HomePro Finder is
HomePro Finder is an online directory that helps homeowners find local home-service professionals (“pros”), such as fence builders, contractors and other trades. We are a directory and lead-routing service. We are not a contractor, and we do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work.
2. Free for homeowners
- Searching and browsing the directory is free.
- Requesting a quote through the Site is free for homeowners. We don’t charge you for a quote request.
- Any price, estimate, contract or payment for actual work is strictly between you and the pro you choose.
3. How quote requests and leads work
When you submit a quote request or contact form, the information you provide (for example your name, contact details, address or ZIP code, and project details) is sent to one or more listed pros so they can contact you about your project. By submitting a request, you agree that we may share that information with those pros for that purpose. See our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle your information.
4. Listings and plans for pros
Pros can list their business on one of these plans:
- Basic — free.
- Pro — paid. Current pricing is shown at signup.
- Premier — paid. Current pricing is shown at signup.
Plan features, prices and billing terms will be shown at signup and may change with notice. Pros are responsible for making sure their listing information (licenses, insurance, service areas, photos, claims) is accurate, current and lawful. We may review, edit, decline, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, including for inaccurate information, complaints, or violation of these Terms.
5. How results are ordered (paid placement)
Paid placement affects order. Listings on paid plans (Pro and Premier) are sorted ahead of free Basic listings in directory results. Within each group, other factors may affect order. A higher position is not a recommendation, endorsement or ranking of quality.
6. Owner-affiliated business disclosure
ForSure Fence Builder is affiliated with the owner of HomePro Finder. It is listed in the directory and may appear in results and receive quote requests. We disclose this so you can take it into account when choosing a pro.
7. Reviews
- Reviews on the Site are first-party: they’re submitted through HomePro Finder, not copied from other websites.
- Every review is checked and approved by an administrator before it appears. Approval means the review met our posting rules; it does not mean we verified every statement in it.
- Reviews must be honest, based on your own real experience, and must not include offensive content, personal information about others, or anything unlawful. We may decline or remove reviews that break these rules.
- Pros may not write reviews of their own business or offer anything in exchange for reviews.
8. No guarantee of a pro’s work
Pros listed on the Site are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners (except for the owner-affiliated business disclosed above, which is still solely responsible for its own work). We do not guarantee, warrant or insure the quality, safety, timeliness, legality or price of any pro’s work, and we don’t guarantee that a pro will respond to you or take your job. Before hiring anyone, you should check licenses, insurance, references and written contracts yourself.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to: submit false or misleading information or fake quote requests; scrape, copy or resell directory content or leads; interfere with or attempt to break the Site’s security; use the Site to send spam or harass anyone; or use the Site for anything unlawful.
10. Our content
The Site’s design, text, logos and directory compilation belong to us or our licensors. Pros keep ownership of the content they submit but give us permission to display, format and use it to operate and promote the Site.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any dispute, loss, damage or injury arising from your dealings with any pro, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid HomePro Finder in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Brazoria County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
